Actually what it says it is
I looked all over for an athame that actually had a wooden handle instead of faux wood finishes. This one is just what it looks like. The scabbard isn't very good, but it does the job. The grip is also not the most comfortable if you plan on hanging on to it for a long time. Not uncomfortable, just not contoured to the hand.
