Description
Elder Futhark runes sets are a divination tool used in personal readings. Based on the Elder Futhark alphabet dating back to the 2nd century, this set of bone rune pieces is incredibly diverse and easy to use. This set is made up of 25 pieces of genuine, polished water buffalo bone. 24 of the pieces are engraved with a different rune symbol. Each symbol represents different aspects of a persons life, such as loyalty, protection and wealth, much like a Tarot deck. A twenty fifth blank piece is included in the set for completion. There are many ways to lay out and read rune tiles. Basic instructions for this set are included.

Because these tiles are made of all natural polished bone, each set varies some in appearance. These pieces measure just under 1/2'' each and are easy to take anywhere. You are certain to enjoy using your rune set more and more with each use.

few of the runes are hard to id but other than that great set.

Quality item
I am a novice at Rune work. I was looking for something affordable and as natural as I could find, but not wood. These are perfect. Small enough to hold in one hand and still large enough to read. The tiles are about 5/8 wide by 6/8 long (inch). Nice weight and sound like marbels when you roll them in the bag. The bag I received is black with a double drawstring. This bag is sewn, not glued like some I have seen.

Wonderful
I absolutly love this Rune set. The feel of the runes and the clarity of the markings of the runes themselves are great. I had this set once before but was lost in a move. I am happy to have them back with me!

Beautiful Set
These are perhaps the most beautiful rune set I've ever seen. They're smooth, highly finished and polished. They feel almost sensual to the touch. I particularly like that they are uniform in size and shape...and make a pleasingly solid "clacking" sound when casting a spread. My order arrived within three days...I was very impressed.
