A Wiccan Way Exclusive Product! Decorate your altar for the Witches' New Year with this Samhain altar tile with it's traditional jack-o-lantern and of course, one of the most common references of the Sabbat, a witch flying on her broom! The jack-o-lantern was used by people who traveled the road this night, the scary face carved into the pumpkin to frighten away spirits or faeries who might otherwise lead one astray. Set on porches and in windows, they cast the same spell of protection over the household. In many Samhain rituals, the cauldron is used to burn the Samhain sabbat fire as a symbol of death and rebirth and the passing from one spiritual plane to another. That leads us to one of the cornerstones of Samhain symbols... the witches broom which is used for protecting the home and sweeping out negativity. And finally, the black cat was a known protector of homes, keeping evil away from the doorstep and becoming invaluable as the witches familiar.

The artwork was created by Dsaria Designs and then imprinted and glazed into a glossy ceramic tile. The image is actually embedded into the surface of the tile itself, it is not pasted or glued on. The "wiccanway.com" watermark shown in the image does not appear on the tiles, it's just used to protect the images posted here on the website. This item is only available at The Wiccan Way online store.
