Description
Cast in resin with either a stone or wood finish, this Wheel Of The Year wall plaque is intricately carved as a traditional spoked wheel. Each of the eight pie shaped sections between the spokes represents one of the Pagan holidays or Sabbats. The Quarters: Yule, Ostara, Midsummer, and Mabon focus mainly on the movement of the sun and contain alchemical symbols for the seasons. Each of the Cross Quarters: Samhain, Imbolg, Beltane, Lughnasadh feature one of the four tools and portrays the transition of our relationship to the Earth as the year progresses. Zodiac signs depict the movements of the stars throughout the year and illustrate how they relate to the holidays. The back of the plaque is covered with crushed velvet and includes a hook for hanging on your wall.

This timeless piece is created by talented artist and fellow Pagan, Paul Borda of Dryad Design. The initial template for the mold is painstakingly carved by hand in wood, then the mold is created and the actual product is cast in resin based on his original wood-carved design. ©2001 P.Borda
