Description
This set of wood rune stones is perfect for beginners. It includes a velveteen bag for safe keeping and instructions for use. Rune stones can be used for divination and with practice can be used to guide decisions. This set of 25 includes 24 pieces marked with the Futhark rune alphabet along with one blank stone. Each piece measures 1.25" x 0.75" and is made of bonded, wood composite. Because each piece lies flat when used, it is clear whether it is an up or down rune. This lends itself to easier reading for beginners.

Rune stones are thrown, or "cast", while a question is considered. Once they have fallen, the arrangement is read. Each symbol represents something different, for example home, travel, strength or gift. As one works with their stones, they make a connection to them increasing their energy and understanding. Rune casting has been in practice for thousands of years, and many believe it to be the basis for tarot reading.
