This talisman, for use as a Philtre (Love Spell), may be relied upon under all circumstances, and it will "force the spirits of Venus to obey and compel any person whatever to come in a moment." A ground of Hebrew letters are scattered amid a cross, a square and semi-circles. The Latin inscription from Genesis is found around the outer ring of the talisman: "This is now bone of my bones, flesh of my flesh... And they shall be one flesh."
This talismanic design is taken directly from the "Key of Solomon" or from the later magical grimoires influenced by it. Solomon received his knowledge directly from "Homadiel" the angel of God who granted Solomon ineffable wisdom.
